Whats a good pair of Adidas soccer shoes?
I am just getting into soccer. Should I get cleats, or indoor style shoes? Are indoor style shoes any good outdoors? I am not going to be on a team for quite some time, but would like to know your thoughts. And can't you wear indoor shoes like a normal pair of shoes? please correct me if I am wrong. I know that this is a lot, but please help me to the best of your ability. Thanks.
Copa Mundials are classic outdoor soccer cleats. Nothing fancy or futuristic, but tried and TRUE. They won't let you down.
If you are playing outdoor soccer, you need outdoor cleats.
Indoor shoes are flat like tennis shoes and used for quick rolling flat surfaces or turf.
Outdoor cleats have actual cleats on them, studs, so that in soft natural grounds you won't slip.
So, no, indoor shoes will not be any good outdoors.
Yes, indoor shoes are frequently worn like normal shoes, but the most competitive usually do not want the extra wear and tear on such expensive shoes.
PLUS, when you get outdoor cleats, DO NOT wear them on concrete or off the field. Take them off after each game, put on your sandals or sneakers for regular walking. Otherwise you will wear down your cleats.
ALSO, buy some leather polish/oil. Put this on your outdoor cleats after every use- of course, after you get all the dirt off.
Don't leave mud on your cleats, it will dry out the leather.
Don't leave wet cleats in a bag, it will mold the leather.
Take care of your cleats and they will take care of you.
